Meet the Founder

Hi, I'm Heather and I am so glad you are here.

For years, I believed health was about discipline, workouts, and finding the perfect plan. And while those things matter, I came to realize they were never the destination. Like so many women, I found myself chasing the next goal, the next routine, or the next version of "enough", only to discover that lasting transformation couldn't be built on striving alone.

Everything changed when I stopped viewing my health as a project to perfect and started seeing it as something to steward. I still believe in lifting heavy, eating well, and building strength. But those habits became sustainable when they were rooted in something deeper than appearance or achievement. They became an act of gratitude.

We each get one body, one mind, and one life. Stewarding them well isn't about perfection, it's about faithfully caring for what we've already been given.

That's why I created The Ascent.

My hope is to help women move beyond quick fixes and all-or-nothing thinking, and instead build a life marked by strength, purpose, and intentional stewardship. One decision at a time. One faithful step at a time.

Health was just the beginning. Stewardship became the destination.
